Terms of use
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These terms apply to using Zelo, a cleanup and maintenance app for macOS, and to buying its license. By downloading, installing or buying Zelo, you agree to them.
1. Who sells it
The Zelo app is developed and sold by Zelo. Purchases are processed by our payment provider, our reseller of record (Merchant of Record), which handles payment, taxes, receipts and refunds. The buyer terms of that provider also apply to your purchase.
2. The license
The Zelo license is lifetime and paid once: no monthly fee and no renewal. It is personal, covers use on up to 2 of your Macs, and may not be resold or redistributed.
The scan is free forever: Quick Review, Disk Map, Mac Health and the menu bar. Before you buy, you can clean up to 2 GB and uninstall 1 app.
3. Responsible use
Zelo shows what it found and only removes what you reviewed. Nothing personal is preselected, and Keychains, Mail, Messages, Photos, iCloud and essential system folders are out of reach. Medium- and high-risk items spend 7 days in Quarantine before they are permanently deleted. Even so, the decision to remove each item is yours, and we recommend keeping your backups up to date, for example with Time Machine.
4. Warranty and liability
Zelo is provided as is. We do our best to make it work well and safely, but we can't guarantee it will be free of errors on every Mac setup. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss caused by items you chose to remove.
5. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the version in effect.
